Air Ambulance Fund Raising Day - Saturday 6 June 2009

The School Council has decided their chosen charity this year is the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. After having two ambulances in school recently the children thought that at sometime in their lives they may need the services of the air ambulance and therefore agreed to raise as much money as possible. A representative from the Air Ambulance came into school and gave a presentation to the children who are all very excited about what we can do to raise money.

On Saturday 6th June 2009 we held a fund raising event with stalls, games, refreshments and a BBQ. Here are a few pictures from the event. Click on the images to see the full size picture.

In addition to the above event, several other fund raising activities took place over the summer and as a result we are now pleased to tell you that on September 25th 2009 we presented a cheque for £1815 to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

Many thanks to everybody that helped and contributed to our fund raising days in June and July 2009, and to everyone that took part in our National Air Ambulance Day Friday 25 September 2009. We have received a letter of thanks from the W&NAA which is on display in the foyer.
