Spellings for Friday 01 June

• Children are encouraged to read at home to an adult at least 3 times a week.
• Maths homework is given out every Monday and children are expected to have it completed by the following Monday.
• Spelling homework is given to the children on a Friday and will need to be completed for the following Friday.
• Every Monday the children are given a times tables test, for which they will be given the focus the week before.
• KS2 Bitesize - This is a good website for SAT’s revision.

Whole Class Targets This Term:

Literacy: To use a variety of sentence structures in their writing using capital letters and full stops.

Numeracy: To know their times tables up to 10 x 10 by heart.

Reading: To read at home at least 3 times a week.

Literacy and Numeracy will be things we will work on in school and be focusing on this term.

For this half term the new Numeracy target will be to know all of the 6 times table by heart.

Children have been told that their homework book must be handed in to Mrs Rose every morning to be checked.

Due to SATs and Ironbridge residential there will be no spellings for the next two weeks.
