Year 5/6 Afterschool Football Club

Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances all football matches and training have been cancelled until further notice.

 

French Skipping Ropes

Following our International Games session as part of our International Day, we have a number of French Skipping Ropes at school for £3.50 each. The children can purchase these at break times from the school office until Friday 12th March.   

 

Parents’ Consultation Evenings Dates

Tuesday 16th March all classes

Thursday 18th March all classes except 5B and 5/6W for these classes the second evening will be Thursday 25th March.

Slips will be sent home early next week.

 

International Day

Was very successful on Wednesday with all the children “visiting” a range of countries and activities around the school. Many thanks to the staff and visitors for the input in making the day such an informative and exciting event.

Our next event “week”, will be “GREEN WEEK” when the children will explore a range of “green activities” within their classes.

Cyberbullying is defined as “the persistent use of IT, particularly mobile phones and the internet, deliberately to upset someone else”. It can take many forms including:

• Posting abusive messages online – on a social networking site, in a chatroom, or using IM

• Posting humiliating videos or pictures online, or sending them on to other people

• Taking on someone else’s identity online in order to upset them

• Bad mouthing and spreading rumours

• Setting up hate site or a hate group on a website

• Prank calling, prank texts and messages

• Sending nasty or abusive messages

We will be holding an Easter Service in St Peter’s Church on Thursday 1st April at 1:30pm. All are welcome to attend.

Year 5 Frontier Centre Trip

Just a reminder that the balance of £15 for the trip to the Frontier Centre was due in on Monday 1st March. Therefore please can all outstanding money be paid this week?
